Our house is located on Lemon Avenue, which is a short drive from Venice town centre. Lemon Avenue is a quiet secluded tree-loned road used only by local residents. Strange as it may seem the sight of a car on Lemon Avenue is very rare and you’re more likely to encounter a neighbour walking their dog or heading for the beach.
The beach itself is a mere five minute stroll from the house, 2 minutes by car if you’re feeling decadent.
GETTING HERE | LOCATION | THE BEACH | VENICE
Most of my working life was spent as an art director, then copywriter and creative director in advertising & marketing in the UK. Some 18 years ago I pulled up my roots and moved to the beautiful island of Menorca in the Mediterranean. I now split my time between Menorca & the Gulf Coast of Florida, where I now paint and write. The Eye of Ra & The Children of Isis is my first full novel. It will be followed by a sequel The Lost Pasht. The Eye of Ra & The Children of Isis is a mixture of facts and fictions. In this book, my intention is to show a hope for the human species in the form of a evolved homo sapien, where love, passion, trust and sharing, conquers the dark side that bloodshed, violence, hatred, deceit and greed breeds daily. I am fascinated by ancient Egypt and how as a technologically advanced civilisation it rose, seemingly from nowhere. Stories and myths of visitors from outside our solar system have existed for thousands of years. The Truth Is Out There. Were we an experiment that went wrong, or just an imperfect Darwinian evolution? In my writings I intend continue exploring this train of thought.
